ENGLISH FOR ADS 6

Nice to meet you. I'm from the Bilaspur and I live in Delhi.  Where are you from?

I'm a Maths teacher in Beacon English Medium school. What do you do?

I am a central govt. employee and like reading books and play cricket in my free time. How about you?

I too enjoy playing cricket in my free time.

When do you get up in the morning ?

I get up at 6 am in the morning.

What is your routine in the morning ?

After my morning routine, I go for walk..I walk for one hour daily.

Can u tell me what are the benefits of morning walk ?

Yes ofcourse, 

I think it's great you're learning English. How often do you study English?

Did you study English yesterday?

How about tomorrow? Are you going to study English tomorrow?

OK, I know that studying English isn't the most important thing in the world! What else are you going to do this week?

Conjunctions : Joining words are called conjunctions. They are joiners.

What is the difference between preposition and conjunction ?

Preposition establishes relationship ( time, direction, place )

Ex. The book is on the table. ( Preposition ).

Conjunctions are joining words.

Ex. Gautam and Arvind are best friends.

There are two types of conjunction :

Coordinating Conjunctions.
Subordinating Conjunctions.

Coordinating conjunctionsFANBOYS
FOR .. BECAUSE OR SINCE (कारण)
AND ..IN ADDITION TO ( और )
NOR .. AND NOT ( NEGATIVE IDEA )
BUT ..HOWEVER ( CONTRAST, OPPOSITE ) विपरीत
OR .. OPTION , CHOICE ( विकल्प )
YET ..CONTRAST ( विपरीत )
SO .. THEREFORE ( RESULT, इसलिए )

Example :
Reason .. For
He called a doctor for his wife was in pain.
Let's celebrate for this a very special day.

Joining two verbs  ..And
My upline came to my home and hugged me.
He went to morning walk and did her STP everyday.

Joining Two negative clauses ..Nor
He is never tired nor is he sick.
She doesn't eat meat, nor does she eat dairy product.

Joining opposite ideas ..but
Arjun doesn't like Homework, but he does it anyway.
The restaurant was good, but it was expensive.

Joining options or choices ..Or
You could take the bus, or you could walk there.
Which would you prefer, Vanilla or chocolate.

Joining opposite ideas.. yet
The sun was shinning yet it was cold outside.
He was strict teacher yet he loved the children.

Joining ideas that gives results ..so
The road was blocked so we had to take a detour.
My car broke down so I had to take the train.

Preposition : is a word that gives relationship of noun or a pronoun to other words in a sentence.

Preposition of time ( relationship )
Preposition of place
Preposition of direction
Preposition of agents
Preposition of instruments

Preposition of Time : ( Hours & Calendar ) 
at, on, in, over

At 3 o'clock, at 4.30 pm, at night, at noon, at sunset, at lunch time, at bed time, 

The train will reach at 3 pm.
I will reach Singrauli at night.
I will be waiting for u at lunch time.
Don't waste your time watching mobile at bed time.

On Sunday, on 7th feb, on my birthday,
BBS is on Sunday at 4pm.
Will u come on my birthday ?
Weekly open is on 7th February.

Read the story

Amit and Namit go to the same school. They live in Gandhinagar. They go to school at 8.00 am by the school bus.

 They share everything with each other. They come back at 4 pm from school. In the evening they go out to play in the park with other boys from their colony. 

They go home by 6 pm to finish their homework and study. They have dinner at 8 pm. They thank God for his blessings and pray for their family and friends.

Amit and Namit are very popular with their friends. They are also liked with their teachers because they are loving and caring. Their parents are proud of them.
We must all learn to love , care and share.
